Lavera to sell product line at Target

KIRKLAND, Wash. European green beauty brand Lavera will offer a line of natural sunscreen products for spring 2010 at 1,200 Target stores nationwide and online at Lavera.com.

"Our new formulation that meets the higher UVA protection requirements will be available for the 2010 sunscreen season. Our sunscreen products will remain 100% natural, with no synthetic ingredients. We will continue our commitment to provide consumers with the highest quality products ‹ minus the harmful ingredients," stated Ulrike Jacob, Lavera CEO.

The collection includes:

  • Baby and children sun screen SPF 20 for $24.99
  • Anti-aging sun screen SPF 15 for $24.99
  • Sun spray SPF 30 Neutral for $31 (available only at Lavera.com)
  • Self tanner for body for $24.99

Lavera health and beauty products are currently sold in more than 24,000 locations in 25 countries. It is a market leader in Europe for natural skin care with a 27% market share in general health and beauty products and a 50% market share in sunscreen products. Its North American division was formed in the late 1990s and is based in Kirkland.
