MONTVALE, N.J. One week after A&P announced the addition of generic drugs to its Lower Price Project, the supermarket chain is promoting its program with the help of television personality Kelly Ripa.
Ripa will be promoting A&P's new prices in upcoming television and radio commercials.
"I'm so proud to be a part of the new Lower Price Project. As a long-time A&P customer, I know exactly what people are looking for when they shop, and the A&P team has really delivered tremendous value for their customers," she said.
Launched in March, the new Lower Price Project is so expansive that it will take several weeks to complete. As the program continues to roll out, consumers will see across-the-board price reductions in as many as 10,000 shelf signs in-store, A&P said.
