Hamacher Resource Group to offer workshop on best ways to approach independent channel

WAUKESHA, Wis. — On Jan. 23, 2014 Hamacher Resource Group will offer its most popular workshop, "How to Grow Sales Within Independent Pharmacy," at its headquarters in Waukesha, Wis., the company announced Wednesday. 

The one-day session will cover the best practices for suppliers who want to expand distribution and sales in the independent pharmacy channel. HRG chose to offer this topic based on strong response to a survey they conducted that asked HBW suppliers for feedback on potential education topics for 2014. The survey was administered in September this year, and growing sales in the independent pharmacy channel was a favored workshop topic of 48% of the respondents.

"The How to Grow Sales Within Independent Pharmacy" workshop has been conducted by HRG four times over the last two years. Attendees have ranged from representatives of companies new to the U.S. market to existing brands looking for ways to expand distribution in the independent pharmacy channel. Dave Wendland, HRG VP and member of the owners group, said, “There are a range of companies that can benefit from this workshop, whether they are an established brand that is seeking innovative ways to better navigate the independent channel or a new product that needs to establish itself.
