WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS/pharmacy is positioning itself as a go-to shopping destination this Valentine's Day.
"Showing loved ones that you care is easier than ever this Valentine's Day with the variety of meaningful gifts available at your local CVS/pharmacy," said Mike Bloom, EVP merchandising, supply chain, marketing and advertising. "From cards and candy to the most popular designer fragrances, we offer what the variety shoppers are looking for in one convenient stop."
The drug store chain said it is offering a wide selection of chocolates and candy, heartfelt greeting cards and spa-at-home products, as well as personalized photo keepsakes.
CVS/pharmacy said it will announce promotions on its Twitter and Facebook pages, as well as in store circulars. The company also is encouraging ExtraCare members to purchase Valentine's Day items, and can save money when they purchase specially advertised items and receive instant ExtraBucks every time they shop.
