Consumer Reports ranks Wegmans No. 1 grocer

ARLINGTON, Va. — Consumer Reports has ranked Wegmans No. 1 in its list of supermarkets across the country with a score of 88, according to a report in USA Today published Thursday. Publix ranked No. 3 with a score of 85. Costco, Hy-Vee, Harris Teeter and H-E-B also made the top 10 list. 

Wegmans, along with Trader Joe's, was rated best among employee courtesy and checkout speed. 

Other stores with high customer satisfaction marks include Publix and Costco.
