EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Clif Bar introduced its newest seasonal flavor, pecan pie. Pecan pie brings together nuts and spices to create a traditional, nostalgic flavor reminiscent of the holidays. Made with organic ingredients specifically chosen by athletes and foodies in the Clif Kitchen, the recipe delivers nutrition for sustained energy, the company stated.
Now in its eleventh year, the limited-edition Clif Bar seasonal lineup includes: pecan pie, iced gingerbread and spiced pumpkin pie. All three seasonal flavors are available nationwide while supplies last (SRP $1.39).
"The winter season gives us an opportunity to put a holiday twist on our traditional flavors,” said Clif Bar brand director, Dan Hickle. “Like the first snowfall of the year, the arrival of the seasonal Clif Bar flavors is something that fans tell us they look forward to all year.”
Clif Bar will donate 1% of seasonal net sales to Protect Our Winters, a nonprofit organization fighting against climate change. Clif Bar and Protect Our Winters are dedicated to educating, engaging and mobilizing the winter sports community to Protect the Places We Play.

Like all Clif Bar flavors, pecan pie, iced gingerbread and spiced pumpkin pie are made with 70% organic ingredients and are a good source of protein and fiber. All Clif Bar & Co. foods have zero grams of trans fat, and do not contain partially-hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors and synthetic preservatives. In addition, Clif Bar & Co. only sources ingredients that are not genetically engineered.
