Chobani a 'champion' for young yogurt eaters

NEW BERLIN, N.Y. Chobani Greek yogurt announced a new line of yogurt for kids.

Chobani Champions' launch marks the first Greek yogurt in the United States made exclusively for children's tastes.

"We take our role as America's No. 1 Greek yogurt brand very seriously and firmly believe good nutrition begins in childhood.  We're pleased to give parents a healthy option for children including the fun and tastiness kids enjoy."

The 2% Chobani Champions line will be sold in 4-oz. cups to better accommodate a child-size appetite. With all of the same nutritional benefits as adult-sized 100% natural Chobani products. Champions will be offered in four delectable flavor combinations, including StrawNana, VerryBerry, HoneyNana and chocolate.

Chobani Champions is available in four-pack multi-packs and will retail for $3.99.
