ST. LOUIS Anheuser-Busch recently launched a beverage fusing together its classic lager with a spicy clamato tomato cocktail.
This new savory beer, Budweiser & Clamato Chelada and Bud Light & Clamato Chelada are beers that combine the Budweiser and Bud Light with clamato, spices and a hint of lime.
Originally introduced in 2007, the beverages were sold in select California and Texas cities before expanding to markets in New York, Florida and more.
Budweiser & Clamato Chelada and Bud Light & Clamato Chelada contain 5% alcohol by volume and 4.2% alcohol by volume, respectively. They are packaged in single-serve 24-ounce cans, 16-ounce four-packs and 12-ounce six-packs. Anheuser-Busch announced it would distribute the 12-ounce cans this month.
