NEW YORK Revlon has appointed Alan Meyers EVP and chief science officer, effective Jan. 1, 2010.
Meyers will succeed Neil Scancarella, who has served as Revlon's chief science officer since January 2000. Scancarella will retire in December of this year.
Meyers has spent his career in cosmetics research and development positions of increasing scope and responsibility with Avon, Elizabeth Arden and L'Oreal USA. Most recently, he served as SVP research development and consumer affairs for L'Oreal USA.
